Not really AR, but "OTHER" caliber...
Anyone own a 358 Winchester? This round really interested me in the past, and a discussion on another site (not that other site) has me thinking it again.
Could be lots of fun as a cheap shortish range thumper round. Thoughts?
For those of you not familiar, it is a 308 case necked up to sling 357 magnum pistol bullets.

How about a 35 Whelen?
Between the cheaper cost of the pistol bullets and 308 brass, using a short action vs long and the more forgiving shoulder angle, I am intrigued more by the 358 win.
