You don't want to deal with it there are at least 3-4 folks on CL in the metro area who would be there yesterday if you call them.
Why am I smoking crack? I was asking. Damn you a grumpy old man.

I have guys drive by my rolloffs every day and take whatever scraps of metal they can find. Makes more room for me. ++

Its definitely worth it. I take bags of cans in to recycle and put the money in my sons college fund.

So that half full 5gal bucket I have of steel casings is worth how much? Didn't seem right to toss them, so I just started filling a bucket up when I'm sorting through range brass pickups. Can I afford a lunch at taco bell yet?

even out here in the stix they're giving $170/Ton for scrap steel... If you've got the room to let it pile up to that much, it's worth it...
Last time I brought a load, it was around $200 in my pocket

I have a couple hundred pounds you can add to your haul if you want it. It's the front clip of a bread truck frame.

i had a washing machine I needed to get rid of, so I hauled it down to the scrap yard in Pueblo and got $14.00. I thought that was pretty good price for an old washing machine.
