The anti's are never going to stop, -ever. It's an incremental chipping away until there's nothing left. I really don't think it has the least bit to do with crime reduction, just simply more taxes/money for their pet projects. If we were all into collecting sea shells, there'd be a huge tax and transfer fee on sea shells. Gun owners are merely a revenue stream in the eyes of politicians: Bloomberg gives to the anti-2A politicians, NRA gives to the pro-2A politicians and we are pawns in the game.
