According to the study she linked out of the 33K in 2007 12600 were homicides, the rest were something else typically suicides. And quite honestly if someone is going to kill themselves not having a gun isn't going to stop them.

Its interesting that the report continually states that the data is based off of ICD-10 data when the United States used ICD-9 codes for tracking diagnoses.

She provides a source and when I invalidate her claim using her source she then says well it isn't a complete source... There is a better study coming out.
