What should he be doing? He was at every single hearing he could possibly be at speaking on behalf of law abiding citizens all over the state. He's stated several times that he won't enforce unconstitutional laws & he will not allow those charged by other entities for the same thing in his detention center. Just making his stance on such things known is a HUGE risk to his professional livelihood. Until someone challenges him on the stances he's taken I don't know what else you expect him to do.

That is just the way I see it. I guess I should have directed my statement to all of them. I just believe that there is more that needs to be done in ways to insure that they will not allow people to be disarmed under any circumstances as things continue to get more and more out of hand by the day. No need for you or others to get all butthurt.

Seriously dude, we've got enough problems with those who are against us and you are picking a fight with those who are not only with us but go to bat for us at every possible chance they get. What the fuck if your problem? Justin Smith is one of the good ones and I don't appreciate you're casting of aspersions towards him (or ANY of the Colorado Sheriff's for that matter) because w/o them NOBODY would be fighting out battle. Nobody. So I will ask one last time: What the FUCK is it that you think they should be doing that they're not. I've been fairly involved in the entire thing and I can tell you that these guys are fighting their asses off for us and that's why I'm fighting for them. Little snarky childish comments w/o any sort of backing sure as shit isn't helping out cause. I am not picking a fight with you or anyone else. You act as if I am against what they are doing and that is just not the case. I support them and appreciate the efforts being put forth.. We are very fortunate to have some people willing to stand for what is right, without them we would be looking more like California today as far as the 2a. I just have a different view than you do on something as well as many I am sure. To me it is about a lot more than the 2a. There is really no need for you to get so hostile towards me.

Along with him being one of the loudest voices on our side like the other guys said, what else should he be doing? How much time should he take away from his primary job (you know, actually being the sheriff) for politics?

Don't get me wrong I am not saying he is a bad guy because I do believe he is an all around super guy trying to do what he can for his constituency. I just believe there is more that needs to be done not only in Larimer County but in all counties across this country.

I still am not hearing examples of what he's not doing that he could be doing because your post made strong insinuations that he's just grand standing for political gain and I couldn't disagree more.
