I really think that Dumervil screw-up is going to haunt us.

I think it is called Ego...

Miller out for 6 is going to hurt worse than losing Dumervil.

Last time I remember the Broncos being favored to win the Superbowl prior to the first regular season game, they did.

Vegas had the Broncos at 5:1 to win it all. SF was 2nd at 7:1, followed by three other NFC teams

If the Broncos don't make it to the AFC championship, they should consider the season a bust. I will keep Houston as my sleeper AFC pick, with Denver probably being my favorite. As always, watch for the Giants late in the NFC, and Atlanta seems to slowly be learning how to not shit the bed in the post-season. I like Seattle for the NFC.

My dream matchup is a Bears v Broncos Super Bowl where Chicago tramples Denver. That will be a glorious day/week in my life.

You ARE dreaming. Bears in the SB? This year? AND beating the Broncos?

For a guy who never gets recognized as elite, Joe Flacco is about as good as they come. Even in a poor game (for Baltimore), he throws for over 300 and 2 TDs.

I never referenced this year. I don't care when it happens. So long as I'm in Colorado when it happens.

But for the record, the Bears are one of the stronger teams in the league. God forbid the front office actually learns how football works and finally builds an O line...everyone in the NFC better run and hide. Cutler with protection is a scary sight for a defense, and having Forte in open space is easy money. I don't think anything needs to be said about the Bears defense, other than they're the most consistent and balanced defense in the league for, what, 7-8 years now? The lack of an O line is literally the only thing holding them back.

Reading this thread after the game was hilarious. People writing off the offense, defense, special teams, head coach and entire city off before the end of the first half. lol

Da Bears will lose to the Bengals in their season opener, Marshall & Cutler will be in a feud shortly thereafter and the train won't get back on the tracks before the end of the season. Sorry but they missed their opportunity. Firing Lovey w/o a better option available was stupid.

BTW..... triple digit posts and NOT A SINGLE MENTION OF TEBOW!!!!!

Now THAT is some good news. Funny how 7 passing TDs in a single game (three quarters if you want to be specific) will do that to Tebow fanboys. Looks like I will be able to focus on actual game play this season and not the Days of Our Lives BS that those who know nothing about football want to wallow in.

This IS going to be a good season.

Color me impressed. Still think the quick offense is the way to go. Throw them off their feet.
