Well, in an elevated (and especially 100%) oxygen atmosphere, things (smoke, carpet fumes, low concentration hydrocarbon gasses, etc) that would normally not combust become flammable. If that oxygen gas is consumed before all of the flammable material does you get smoke, and heavy black smoke from hydrocarbon sources. In the video there is already some black smoke, but it does not significantly increase for about a second after the explosion.
