Running an Ad in the NY Times for Recent Recall... Who Wants to Pitch in?

Sorry, I don't think it's good idea. Just a waste of time, energy and money. Not likely to be seen by many, if any, who give a shit or even know what it's about. Won't mean a damn thing to 99.9% of those who even see it. New Yorkers live in their own world. To them, Colorado is just some place out west where people go skiing.

Well I'm out anyway. I thought this would be easier to organize so I made a little time to work on it yesterday & had hoped to have a consensus & have it in the paper this morning. I'm busy for the next few days so I'm out as far as spearheading the effort. If someone else wants to take the reigns & run with it I'll contribute financially but I'm no longer able to sort the details.

Okay, so we look to have a few different camps here. A lot of people are willing to donate, but not all for the same reasons. I am in for 25 too. I love shooting a shot across the bow to scare the Dems this way. It drives it into the minds that weaking the 2nd Amendment and our rights will get them tossed out. The more that is reinforced, the more this becomes a non partisan issue. I would also suggest reminding people of semi recent past history.

Sept 1994... the Dems pass the first Assault Weapons Ban.
November 1994, the Dems lose in the largest wave of electoral loss in modern history.

History repeats in Colorado... Never before in state history has any Senator been recalled. We recalled 2.

Leave our 2nd Amendment rights alone.

I also think this is very important. We WANT to instill fear into any politician that is for gun control. We want them to worry about their jobs. We NEED to capitalize on this victory or they will quickly try to forget it and keep on doing bad things for the 2nd Amendment. We want it to become common knowledge that politicians will lose if they go after gun rights.
