8 funerals. 2 immediate family members working there, 1 decided to go out for breakfast, 1 remembers someone pulling on his arm while the tower was coming down to get him out, next thing he knows, he's standing in midtown, with no idea how he got there.
My brother was out that week. Where his desk was there was nothing for 6 floors in one of the other buildings. So many friends and family we know work in that area with equally amazing stories.

Or the conflict within ones self watching the situation develop, so many people in that building, then the second plane hit, the realization that we are now at war, someone is going to pay.

Its amazing that many kids in school today weren't even alive when it happened.

I lived on the East Coast when it happened and its strange to see how little people out here are impacted by it versus people living in the North East.
