    Default Found Dog

A classmate found this dog in Fort Collins off of W. Elizabeth and Glenmoor. The dog is a male dark golden retriever and has a leather collar studded with "12 gauge" metal circles. There are no tags. Please let me know if this is your dog or if you know who he/she belongs to.

Not mine but a nice looking dog. You might want to try local vets in the area and see if any of the employees recognize it. Good luck!

    Post it up on Facebook.

You can also go to a vet and see if there is a RFID chip.

Don't give the info like the collar out, make the owner identify it. Douche bags make money by selling lost dogs.

Good for you for finding, and trying to do the right thing. Good looking dog, too.

I've done this several times. In my case it is almost always dumbass neighbors who think their dogs are so well behaved off-leash.
I was taking them to the local PD, and now I don't even do that anymore.

That's what I was thinking. That's a nice looking dog and he may be chipped.

I think Animal Control can also check for chips.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.

Knowing how much dogs police put down every year... NO.
