5 hours of rain, bit frightened window well full and leaking and I have power strips in the basement.

    Default got rain?

Pretty wet in Thornton when I left about an hour ago. My basement is slightly flooded. Add that to the ever growing list of shit I had planned to do this weekend.

Put strips up high and get a sump pump.

I don't think it will get enough water to where it drains into the sump. Also on the list of things I'm finding wrong with the house. The plastic cover to the sump has basically been sealed in by crappy concrete work. (I could chip away.)

Thank god the side with my main tanks/carpet/future entertainment center is on the high end. Will have to look into something to maybe raise the nice stuff an inch off the ground.

Ugh, I must live in the wrong parts... Just light drizzle in my neck of the Springs... Would LOVE to have a major thunderstorm... Would NOT love to have to worry about flooding, damage, etc. Praying for some of y'all.

Wow, looks like storms faded/broke up about 15 miles west of us. Which is good, we are already more than saturated.

About 20 miles west I had to cross a couple flooded areas almost 2' deep on highway and saw some pretty serious crop damage and destroyed fields.

If the rain doesn't stop pretty soon some of the local farmers are going to take big hits on crop losses.
