It is raining pretty good at 122nd and Huron. Leave it to Time Warner...they failed to put a lid back on their pipe running into our CPU/switch room from the street in the vault (area under the manhole cover). The hole filled up with water and the water ran through the pipe (conduit with Fiber run) going into our CPU/switch room and started to flood our room. 3 buckets, a shopvac, and 2 hours later we finally got the water below the pipe opening. Now we have folks out running around looking for pumps and Lowe's, Home Depot, and others are all sold out. Hopefully Walfart has one as we are running out of options.

    Fun times indeed.

Also, over by the Adams County Fair grounds on 124th they have the road closed due to the river flooding. Just an FYI to everyone. They routed people over to 120th. I could not believe how much the river is over the banks in that area.

    Yup. Thanks for asking.
Coal "Creek" is now Coal RIVER.
The highway is gone in places, they said not to expect to be able to travel Hwy 72 for at least a month.
They turned off the natural gas line. Some do not have electricity. Thankfully we still do.....for now.
We lost one bridge, hope the other holds up, or we will not be able to get out of the yard when they open the road.
At least a foot of standing water in the basement. Going to take the sump pump(s) a LONG time to empty that out.
Have not accessed the rest of the damages yet. And it is STILL RAINING. This isn't over yet.

pickenup: glad to hear you're safe at least.

May God help all affected during this time...

But seriously, if there are people in need of anything post up or PM me if you don't want it public and I will see about making it happen. My availability for transport is limited during the week though.
