This is a response I recieved from Ed. Funny how he picks and chooses which rights american citizens should have, this one he's all for. As for the BLEEPING Second Amendment, NOT A CHANCE.

    Dear James,

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me regarding H.R. 1905, the D.C. House Voting Rights Act of 2007. Your feedback on this issue enables me to better represent the values and concerns of our district.

A voice in the House of Representatives is a right every American should be able to have which is why I voted for H.R. 1905. As you know, H.R. 1905 would increase membership of the House from 435 to 437 Members, allowing D.C. to have a Representative. I strongly feel that the right to vote is the foundation of democracy. It is time our government recognizes all of its citizens and provides them with a voice in Congress.

I encourage you to continue to contact me about the issues that are important to you. Please visit our website www.perlmutter.house.gov. You can also sign up for my electronic newsletter, and receive periodic updates on my activities as your Representative in Washington.

    Sincerely,
    Ed Perlmutter
    Member of Congress
