    The is some conflicting info between Evans Facebook and the city webpage.

    From the city webpage that I intend to abide by "All businesses and residences east of 35th Avenue are now allowed to flush toilets and shower, but are being asked to conserve water for now, which means being cautious about laundry and dishwasher use until further notice. Watch for more information about the "NO FLUSH" situation on the FAQ page as updated."

    I was never so happy to see a flush toilet than after a week on the trail at Philmont Scout Ranch.

    I'm assuming it's just due to the amount of water used. The average washing machine uses 40 gallons of water from what I read so I think they're trying to not have the system inundated right off the bat.
