Default Reality hits hard, Evans waste treatment plant is offline due to flooding

    ETA is 10 days

No water down the drains, no flushing.......

I have a portapotty for emergencies, but 10 days?

Oh and no washing of clothes or dishes.

I prepared for loss of water contamination, and loss of water, got plenty of it. :-/

Forgot to say I have a wife and 5 girls.......

Sorry to hear it. Maybe time for a little family vacation to some place with functional plumbing?

Ahh. I hadn't thought about that.

Might just have to go a little farther.

I evacuated for a hurricane once. Probably could have headed back home in a day or two. Decided to just stay out for a little week long vacation instead.

Thanks guys, situation is as follows:
House is dry, no flooding, no leaks
Electric is good, internets and satellite TV are good.
    We have cell phones.
We have plenty of food, fuel.

No showers and no flushes for 10+ days is gonna be a treat, but everyone is safe and sound. Thousands would trade places with us right now, just need to keep that in mind when the frustration hits. Kids will have the hardest time dealing with it, but we will deal with it and learn from it.

There's 3 adults and a 3 year old in our house but same situation as Dave (thank God I don't have 5 girls). We'll have to have baby wipe baths and tough it out. No biggie.
