Default Car help needed: CV joint bearings?

Wife pulled our '02 Odyssey into the driveway & it started making a horrible noise, like a coffee grinder, no Park, no reverse, nothing. On the ground I found these bearings.

So we pushed it up the driveway into the garage, put some chucks behind the wheels & there it sits til we know what's wrong.

Ideas? Something I should look at?

Thanks. For scale purposes, that's a half of a paper towel in the pic.

Where are you getting CV's done for $45
Have you used Axel Clinic inside Auto Clinic.
We used to have about 50 a month done there with Red back in the 90's

Thx. I have a source for parts, similar to your situation cofi. So I'm good there I think.

How big of a job is it? I can do brakes, struts, have swapped trannies & motors before... I don't ever remember doing a cv joint though. Universals I've done, but they're easy.
