Two form 4s for trust, certified 4/7 2:23pm. Approved 4/9 5:50pm. I need to find a few more now.

What Hoser said. I incorrectly went off into the weeds with my reply because my eyes must have stuttered on the 5320.4 and I read it as 5320.20.

...but my comment still stands, I did a modification and got a confirmation but the ATF never updated their database. So my form 20 failed a year later because the caliber I submitted didn't match the outdated information they had on file.

I submitted a Form 1 online at the ATF website on 3/31. Snail-mailed paper print cards on 4/3. Approved 4/10.

Question: if I have a sbr on a form 1 through a llc I created and I want to transfer it to my trust, I would submit a form 4 and my trust would be the buyer and the llc the seller correct?

Yeah yeah a trust would have been better from the stsrt but this was a loooooong time ago and it was easier at the time. Now the extra tax stamp cost is worth it to secure the item for family.

Yes. What I can't answer is if the transfer has to go through a dealer or not and/or what kind of background checks might have to happen to fulfill Colorado law.

No one can answer these types of questions with 100% certainty, and that's the way the law was purposely written. Hope and a prayer is your best bet. Good luck

I dont think it needs to because it was a pre-made sbr that was directly transferred to my llc via atf form so I don't think the stste even really knows about it per se. That could be a different scenario if I was transferring it to myself vs my trust though perhaps. I could be wrong though.
