    Talking Bushvvacker Hello

Wanted to introduce myself. I am a married , empty nester, 51 years old. X-USAF enlisted and officer. A lot of my work involved Cold War technical intell. Should have stayed enlisted, because the Bush draw down after the collapse of the Soviet Union got me. Worked as a defense contractor, in the space arena, after that. Been a member of Pueblo West Sportsmans Assoc. for several years. Used to shoot some IDPA matches there and at Clear Creek. I became disabled about 4 years ago and have been battling my way back to the firing line ever since. I really hope to make it there this spring, one of the things that keeps me going. I have a new Remington 7615 to try out. Can't wait to shoot that one. If anyone knows of accessories for the 7615, drop me a line. Need to mount a light, a good sling, a rail might be handy, etc. (No hate mail from you AR-15 fans LOL)

I am primarily in to 1911's, S&W revolver and Ruger revolvers. I alternate between a light weight OCP style 1911 and a Ruger GP100 .357 3" barrel as my favorites/carry. A few years ago I saw an old S&W M10 snubnose sitting in the used gun counter at Specialty Sports rusting away. It had a fantastic trigger on it, vintage turned out to be sometime in the late 40s to early 50's. Sent it off to Cylinder and Slide for a matte hard chrome refinish, smooth the trigger face and bob the hammer. The old gal shoots like a dream and looks great too.

Hobbies besides shooting are astronomy, reading and playing FPS games. Far Cry 2 is my current game, along with CODMW. Oh and my 120lb Shiloh Shepherd, pic below. Well glad to meet y'all, stop in and say hello!
    May God Bless,
    Vic Porter
