Default 13 shot in Chicago last night

    http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/09/20...-chicago-park/

A 3-year-old boy who was among 13 people wounded in a late-night attack on a southwest Chicago park was alert when he arrived at the hospital and was apparently doing well, his family and friends said early Friday.

Glad to see all those firearm regulations are working out well.....

Any bets it was an AR15?

Not really. This one just happened to make national news. Probably because a 3-year-old was involved.

Can we also talk about how 13 were WOUNDED!? Nice to know they'll be back on the street soon.

Probably because the weapon used was NOT held sideways.

    Chicago Tribune article: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/l...0,352520.story

    My favorite quotes:
A pick-up game was being played on the park's basketball court in the 1800 block of West 51st Street around 10:15 p.m. when at least one gunman walked up and started firing, apparently with a high-powered gun.
13 people shot, nobody dies.... must've been like, a real high powered assault rifle death machine AR-15!

Police believe the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the Black P. Stones and Gangster Disciples, a law enforcement source said. It was not known if any of the victims were intended targets.Police said they were questioning several people, but would not say whether any of them were suspects.
    Gang crime... typical in Chicago.

"I think it was like an AK," said one neighbor, describing the shooting. "Man, it was a lot of shots. Man, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. A little boy got hit in the face."
    ...
Once I opened a beer can, I heard shots,’’ Cabada said. “I opened the fence in the back. They reversed up the alley and then toward Ashland, the car peeled out.’’

“A brown Malibu with tints dipped toward Ashland Avenue. . . A brown Malibu with its lights off was peeling off,’’ Cabada said. “Some young kid said they shot his little brother.

“That was pretty much it, I just seen bodies on the floor, I seen three officers carrying the little boy. I didn’t hear no sounds.’’
Clearly, the Chicago Tribune has interviewed society's intelligencia...

"Before Thursday night's shooting, eight children under the age of 8 had been shot in Chicago over seven weeks."
Jee-zus! Sounds like all that gun control is working!!
    My Feedback

"When law and morality contradict each other, the citizen has the cruel alternative of either losing his moral sense or losing his respect for the law." -Frederic Bastiat

"I am a conservative. Quite possibly I am on the losing side; often I think so. Yet, out of a curious perversity I had rather lose with Socrates, let us say, than win with Lenin."

    13 shot in Chicago isn't a mass shooting--that's a regular day.

    Well that didn't take long.

The Superintendent of Chicago PD is flapping his yap about banning high cap mags and assault weapons.........he will probably swallow Rham's, Eric's and Barracks batter later this evening......

It's particularly sad that the arrogant and misguided do-gooders will never wake up and realize that disarming the law-abiding citizenry is only making their murder and violent crime rates higher. People are paying with their lives for the dangerous policies of the anti-gun establishment.
