There were a couple of petitioners by my house this afternoon and I stopped by to thank them. The one guy I talked to said that some of the women petitioners were getting the attention, he'd had a couple of people make some gestures and he just waves at them.

It would appear to me that the ultra-brave [sic] and courageous [sic] communists are picking on the women petitioners and leaving the guys alone.

Channel 7 News tonight said something about the Democrat Party is pressuring Hudak to resign rather than risk recall. Something about if she quits, they can replace her with another Communi - er, Democrat, instead of a Republican getting the seat if she's recalled. She's saying "Hell no, I won't go!"

More to follow tomorrow in the Denver Wipe - er, Post.

The headline says it all: In Colorado, another recall effort over guns seeks GOP Senate control

So it's all about the guns. Her being an assclown has nothing to do with it.

Likely she has the same thinking as the last ones, she cant lose, they were wrong and hopefully she will be too. Watching Giron lose by a huge margin was the highlight of my year, would have loved to laugh in her face. Especially considering her own party voted her out.

^^^ This is the part of this entire process that irks me. Sure the anti 2A legislation is a contributing factor but in reality this is about a non-representative set of elected officials.
I think Evies handlers realize if this goes to a vote, she is toast. She goes and they lose their majority.
They will leverage her hard to resign, she does and her handlers can replace her with a minion of their choice and keep the majority.

From the clips I've seen, she seems to always think she is "...the smartest person in the room".
EX . "Flip a coin", "Statistics are not on your side", and many more, etc.

She so smug that she believes she's "too smart", and too "politically savvy" to have her district vote her out.
She believes she's smarter and better than Giron and Morse and will show THEM and the party "How things are done by a "pro" like her."
She has an ego problem that she can't overcome no matter how hard the party tries to get her to do what is best for the Dems.

I think because of this, she would not heed party warnings to resign so they can appoint another party member and keep senate control and "go the distance' with an election (should it come to that.

Let's hope the Republicans can exploit this vulnerability of hers to their advantage.

But your point on ego is a valid one.

The Repubs forgot took their base for granted. They wanted to award friends through crony capitalism and again got kicked out not on Republican ideals but being Dem light.

Amen Brother. The Establishment GOP is every bit as corrupt and sleazy as their DNC "opposite numbers" who are part of the same Kabuki theater. Both parties are on the make and on the take. Remember that when the NRSC sends you those bogus "surveys" that are nothing but a lame fundraising pitch.
