^^^ This is the part of this entire process that irks me. Sure the anti 2A legislation is a contributing factor but in reality this is about a non-representative set of elected officials.
I think Evies handlers realize if this goes to a vote, she is toast. She goes and they lose their majority.
They will leverage her hard to resign, she does and her handlers can replace her with a minion of their choice and keep the majority.

From the clips I've seen, she seems to always think she is "...the smartest person in the room".
EX . "Flip a coin", "Statistics are not on your side", and many more, etc.

She so smug that she believes she's "too smart", and too "politically savvy" to have her district vote her out.
She believes she's smarter and better than Giron and Morse and will show THEM and the party "How things are done by a "pro" like her."
She has an ego problem that she can't overcome no matter how hard the party tries to get her to do what is best for the Dems.

I think because of this, she would not heed party warnings to resign so they can appoint another party member and keep senate control and "go the distance' with an election (should it come to that.

Let's hope the Republicans can exploit this vulnerability of hers to their advantage.

But your point on ego is a valid one.

The Repubs forgot took their base for granted. They wanted to award friends through crony capitalism and again got kicked out not on Republican ideals but being Dem light.

There is NO WAY this will ever get to a vote. The only two outcomes are either 1. fail to get enough signatures and its all a moot point, or 2. (hopefully) get the signatures and then she will resign and the Dems will place another gun grabbing tool bag in her seat.

Love the recall effort though, if nothing else it will make some politicians think twice about not listening to their employers.

The big thing will be to Vote out whatever Dem is keeping her seat warm during the next election.

This is the same thing that was said about Morse ... thing is Hudak's ego/hubris/arrogance is on par with if not greater than Morse, so there's a good chance that she'll stay and fight for "her" seat.

How is the signature gathering going? Does the 18,000 look do-able? I checked the facebook page but didn't see any mention of how it's going?

I just stopped and signed the petition this morning. Wish I could have dropped some cash to the effort, but couldn't. There were a couple locations in the Westminster area today. Off 80th and Wadsworth and off 88th and Wads.
