    Classy family you're hanging with.

No guns, no charges, everyone walks away in one piece. Sounds like it went just about as well as it could have given the circumstances. Me personally, I would chalk this up to a learning experience about all of the people you were dealing with that day. I guess it is up to you what you do about it and who you choose to continue to associate with.

    Good luck.

Didn't specify, road rage related something. I didn't question it as back of my mind I recall that being the case.

EDIT for below replies as I don't want to bump. (Answers focused at the dumb actions rather than what I should have done different which was the question.)

Her BIL was also apologizing and trying to explain he didn't see the atv until passing etc. Again the yelling was all one sided. Dealing w/ GF freaking out because the stand to her 60 plasma is dinged/scraped up from her BIL dropping it when he got shoved. @ Chunky, it's her BIL not mine.

There is no "road rage" charge that I know of. Careless or Reckless driving would most likely fit for driving actions based on my quick review of the story.

BIL should have apologized along with the G/F..and let the other party screams and bitches for few min. He carries, he has the duty to deflate any chance of escalation. Now, tell the woman to bake a pie and visit your angry neighbor. Noob!

I am glad everyone is ok.

EDIT... I would never let my Brother in Law in the same car with my girlfriend... my wife might find out. I envy you.
