There are also ther issues when it comes to internet speed. Your speed is also limited by the server of the website you are visiting. Just because your internet service is 20mb or whatever the website you are visiting still may not be able to give you anything more than a few megabytes.

DSL is by no means guaranteed speed. The farther you are from the hub, the slower it will be. A friend had dsl, was paying for 3mb and maybe getting 800kbps.
i have the 50mbps connection from Comcast and get 57 regularly.
