I spent my Obama Stimulus money on a GUN!
Nice find. I'm green with envy.
Quite the steal of a deal!
I can't believe only 4 people looked at that auction.
Amazing.

That's a good deal.
My understanding is that a chrome barrel is to help protect from moisture...
As long as you let the gun cool before storing and you clean after firing, you have no real need for the chrome barrel.
Of course I am new to all of this, so perhaps someone with more experience can verify? Either way, that's a good price! Enjoy.
Seller stated, "I bought this ten years ago and never finished the project"
1994 was the introduction of the military M4. Flattop M4's were not made or available in large number, even until 1999.
In 1999 Colt finally got a Military order for 59,000 M4's and the civi AR/M4's or M4'geries later started to become all the rage around 2000 and later. Olympic Arms made a flat top reciever prior to 1994, but it didn't look like the current flat top reciever.
That's not quite 10 years ago.
1:10 twist huh?
Going to shoot only those little, light weight varmint bullets or big ones so they will key hole?
With both of these things listed in the ad.... it might have kept people away. Either the guy doesn't know what he has or how long he's had it, or it's one RARE duck.
If only all of us had planned ahead 10 years ago. 500 rounds of 5.56 was $65 for Lake City Complete AR kits minus reciever were $300 ... reciever were under $100. Mags were about $5
I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.
Well, whatever the case, I think I got a hell of a deal for a carbine upper with the bolt and carrier included.
Did you notice that I bought it 22 minutes after he listed it? LOL, i think that's why only 4 people looked at it. I bet the seller shit his pants when he saw how fast it sold. Nice guy, i talked to him today, he even offered to ship it for free. Oddly, he's from Sacremento.

With a 1 in 10 twist you'll be able to handle 55gr bullets with no issue. Experiment, see what it likes best. Will it take 75gr bullets? Probably not, at least not with any accuracy, but you should not worry about it handling standard ammo.

Wow what a deal. To find an upper in new condition for $366 and to be IN STOCK is amazing. Yeah its 10 years old but who cares. Im definitely jealous. I paid $610 for my cmmg middy and Im still waiting. I cant even expect it to go into production for at least another month or two![]()
Great find!
Oh BTW, I picked up a CMMG stripped lower from Pete at Shawdow River productions, for $150!! Super awsome nice guy, and great price!
I reccomend him highly. Check out his website. www.evilblackrifleshop.com
