Agreed, not bad but way over priced.
God yes, their fries with ranch dressing (they make it with buttermilk ... mmm) and I liked their burgers a lot before they went through a couple of price hikes and then I decided it wasn't worth it (that and way too many children ... and I reflexively hate restaurants where they sing for people's birthdays).While I've eaten at Red Robin several times, I think their burgers are just okay too - but I love their endless fries (yum).
Being originally from Wichita Kansas I was happy to see Freddies start popping up out here.Here in Colo Spr, my favorite burgers come from Freddies & Drifters (very similar style burgers). I haven't had a burger from anyplace in a long time that I thought was worthy of saying "oh man, that was awesome!"
That said, the best burgers are at little mom & pop greasy spoons and dive bars ... always has been (unfortunately the worst burgers can be found in those kind of places too).
