My Lapua .260 brass is starting to get a little thick in the neck and I'm starting to see the donut ring or whatever you call it. It's on cycle #10.
Should I turn the necks down or just replace it? If turning is the answer, which tool?

I've got a Forster Original trimmer that I traded a Buddy for. It's got different pilots, inside neck reamers and I think an adapter to turn the case neck OD down. That's one manufacturer I know of who makes one. I'm typing this on my iPhone so hopefully this link works.

I've got the Forster unit for the Forster case trimmer I have. If you have that trimmer I'd say go that route as it's a lot faster than a regular hand unit. It works well, and after you read the instructions carefully, it's relatively easy to set up. If you've got a different trimmer, then go to one of the hand units as it's probably not very cost effective to buy a new trimmer just to use the neck turning setup.
I have a Wilson trimmer. They make neck reamers which sounds easier. Any reason to prefer turning over reaming?
