Default zero tolerance looking the other way

I rode past Skyline High yesterday evening and there were students practicing something. I was surprised to see white wooden cutouts of rifles being used in this practice. They were obviously fake but more real than a nibbled pop tart.

The insanity has not quite reached everywhere it seems. That or there is more to these stories than we hear on the news.

And you didn't call 911 saying it made you uncomfortable? Failing in your civic duty there! >.>

That perpetuates a culture of violence and intimidation. You need to realize that those kids don't just belong to their parents, but the community. And this community needs progressive, common-sense measures to make sure everyone gets a fair, safe, and inviting piece of the pie. We can't have that with kids glorifying a history of violence. I'm calling the superintendent tomorrow, and will be writing to MSNBC in the mean time. If you crazy, right-wing nuts had it your way, every 6 year old would have an automatic, military-grade assault machine gun 15.
