Personally I'm glad they aren't talking about him.. that's one of the motivations that drive these guys. As far as I'm concerned the id of the shooter should be sealed. Take away fame and notoriety and you take away one of the primary reasons why these guys decide that a rampage is the solution for their problems.Originally Posted by jim

Much akin to how murders in Chicago, Detroit, LA, etc, never receive media attention? Then you are right, "super classy". The Aurora shootings were front page news for a month+.

DC Naval yard killed members of the military, which the media may not be as in love with as school children.

He also passed a background check despite his known mental health issues which plays against the "agenda".
I kind of believe that it actually helps their agenda by allowing them to argue that the government should determine who is fit and who isn't...
