I'm sure all the instructors are just fine, but are thet are any standout places that offer the CCW class?
I'm looking in the south Denver, possibly as far south as CSprings for the best bang for the buck.

Try these people! The quality of training is outstanding!

Pistol Packing Preacher - Have Sermon-Will Travel. [John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10; Titus 3:4-7]
NRA Basic Pistol Instructor. Utah CCW Instructor.
Valhalla has the best training video I've ever seen, I imagine their classes must be phenominal.
I took a Combat Focus Shooting course from Rob Pincus (formerly Valhalla) now new company is ICE Training. It was fantastic!! Well worth the money and even better than the dvd's make it look.
For up north of Denver look up Big American Man. Raydog runs a hell of a class.
I'll be attending a classroom session at Bowers Tactical on monday evening...hes still got a few spots open, and at $125 a seat, it aint bad, IMO!
I took my Basic Pistol CCW course with Ken Evridge. He runs the classes out of his home in Pine, and uses a small (public) outdoor range south of pine for the field exercises. Great guy, and a great course!! Very low stress. Got his name/number from the guys at Green Mountain Guns when I bought my Glock.
It's been a few years since I took my class, so I don't know if he's doing it anymore, but here's the info I have:
Ken Evridge, PO Box 369, Pine, CO 80470 ... 303-816-0831
At the time he also offered advanced classes and night classes, but again, I don't know what his current class offerings are. His prices were also VERY reasonable!
+1 for Profire, particularly if you want to get Utah as well.
If all you're looking for is Colorado, you might check out RMGO.org , they offer whart i am told is a very good 1 night course, $100 for non members, or $75 for members (membership is $25, so it's basically a no brainer).
Myself and several friends and family just took the class from this guy:
http://www.thepdi.org/index.html and it was good. 4 hours and $75 - down just south of park meadows mall and he does colorado springs too.. Kelly.
I'm looking for a class, even during the weekdays, that has the classroom and range requirements for the CCW, near Denver? All these options, it seems some have the range time seperate?
I don't want a lot of gun handling, I'm going to take some dedicated multi-day handgun classes. I mainly want a top notch classroom/legal presentation that will keep my borderline ADD personality engaged.
How are the classes at Firing Line or Green Mountian ranges?
I'll stop buying black rifles when my wife stops buying black shoes.
Myself, friends and family, neighbors have all taken the classes from this group...http://www.thepdi.org/ $75 and 4 hours... good training, not all about "the trainer"... just what you need to know.
