isn't there a saying- some thing like "old enough to feed, old enough to bleed?" or something like that?

seriously, tho- I was carrying a Mossberg 12Ga loaded with 00 buck & slugs when I was 12... mandatory Bear protection if you wanted to go ashore in Alaska... and I think plenty of M16s were issued to 18-19 year olds at some point...

at least with this crowd I don't feel too old, nor too young- I was born in '70... but you won't find me baggin on the younger ones too much

I first started reading the RMN in 1980 when I was station at club Fitz. While the paper did get a severe left slant in later years I always liked the "book" layout.

I prefer to read the paper. Yes I work in the electronics/IT field and have for the last 30 years but there is something to be said for newsprint/books.

Hope all you young ones have a backup plan if all this modern stuff ever comes to a halt.......;-)

and I must be the old man of the group having lived through 10 presidents so far.
I see you running, tell me what your running from

Lemme see. In '85 I had already been to college for 2 years and had joined Uncle Sam's Air Force.

Loch ness of Red feather tipped the boat when he heard about the few guns I did own that were on board, grabbed the guns and disappeared into the watery abiss. Very sad. Luckily I have $1000 coverage through NRA but I am not sure how to explain the story to them without instantly getting denied.

Especially all those e-mails i get with the signature "think before you print this." I like to print it, read it and throw it in the garbage can, yes i have a recycling can in my cube too!

Still prefer to print technical manuals and read/highlight instead of read soft copy. Read a lot of news on-line, especially since the majority of news in print is so out of date by the time it gets to your house. But like the WSJ, autotrader, etc.

Hate the majority of newspapers cause of the liberal spin, and i'm surprised too that many havn't gone out of business, however remember that is how the libs still push their BS. Ironic, notice how it hasn't become un-pc to read the newspaper, even though the libtards are always about saving the world and trees and global warming etc, but newsprint is how they push their propaganda? I have a really liberal neighbor, who complains at me all the time about recycling by the way, and they get 4 f-ing newspapers! Who the f is trying to save the world, oh at least i buy my beer from the "worlds largest recyclers" hehe!

    Cheers and good riddance RMN.
