This is all BS. They are arguing about a continuing resolution. In other words, the Dems want the government to function on basically the same budget it's had since 1997 and the Repubs want to function on the very same budget we have for the last 16 years but don't want to appropriate money to BamaCare.

I have a wild idea. Why doesn't Congress come up with a NEW budget, rather than just agreeing on a continuing resolution and appropriations based on the last real budget that's 16 years old?

It is, after all, one of the few things they have a Constitutional duty to perform. Why there are no consequences and the governed just put up with it, is beyond me.
