In the mortgage/banking world, we have a 'criminal check.' Instead of running a background check against all parties in the transaction (selling, purchase agent, broker, processor, and so on), we simply look at the same old list of 20 some odd names that is banned from doing loans in Colorado. If he/she aint on it, he/she is good to go. Similar concept as yours. I take that over what we have now.. but I surely will take no background check over anything.
