I realized this early on (im 24). Not owing money to anyone is something I have never been more happy about.

Its beyond me how people cannot understand that concept.

thats funny...just looking at USA today and it shows 2.4 trillion in revenue yet 3.6 trillion in spending... "I know! I'll just put it on my credit card!"

I don't see how people don't get this concept.

And now they want to put 75 billion of our dollars out there to save 4-5 million people. That comes out to about 15-19K per household.

What do the people who followed this simple concept in the book get? A kick square in the junk, a slap in the face, and their wallet emptied.

I'm just glad we have China to buy all our bad debt...but that can't last forever.
