I was thinking about going to the Maker Faire in Loveland this weekend (http://makerfairenoco.com/), but when I went to get tickets they state very boldly...

What can/can't I bring to the event?
This is a family event - GUNS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INSIDE.

So, if you were thinking of going.. you have been warned that it will be a defense-free zone. I always wonder if they think that criminals pay attention to these sort of restrictions.

Oh well, it would have been fun to go. I guess I'll find something else to do.
