Where is my appendix?

Having some crazy pain inside me. Low on the left side. Near the groin area. That's not where my appendix is, is it?

My appendix ruptured when I was 18....almost kilt me.

Your appendix should be at belt line...a few inches left of belly button....at least that's where my scar is.

My question to you on this would be......did you feel any "hot" or "warm" feeling in your stomach area today? It would have only lasted about a half hour maybe.

Yes. But I do that every day. The pain just came on suddenly. It has let up a bit now.

I'd say if you feel any worsening pain after you go to bed tonight, go to the doc.

If you do have an appendix problem, and it's not burst yet, your pain level will increase no matter what.

If it bursts, you'll have one of the worst nights imaginable.


Hernia is a totally different deal....I've had two of those also. At least that won't kilt ya.

No. Pretty sure it isn't some sort of hernia.

See a Dr., so he can give the "Turn your head and cough" exam. Don't write off a hernia so quickly, especially at your age.............

What the... I thought appendix was on right side. Ray, I think better safe than sorry, go get it checked out.

Also just because you aren't crippled by pain, doesn't mean you aren't just a badass that feels it only as a scratch.
