Oh...and BTW. I started this thread about Boehner betraying his party and conservatives in general. So there's really no need to attempt to lecture me on the evils of many in the Republican party. Because there's a Good Ole Boy faction in the party doesn't mean I'm willing to throw the baby out with the bath water.

What you seem unable to understand is that first and foremost, I'm a conservative. The Republican party BEST represents my conservative values AND the Republican candidate can get elected...which is far better than the fantasy put forth by Libertarians that "if only enough people would vote for us we could get elected, too". I have never said Republicans are perfect and I often criticize them...this thread is one example. But I also don't live in a utopian world wishing and hoping things were different. I may not really like the reality and I do what I can to change it...but it's reality nonetheless.

I find the Libertarian party only slightly more palatable than the Democrat party.

I suppose I could change my affiliation to Unaffiliated...but it wouldn't change what I believe nor how I vote.

Vote the liars out and lets all drink the TEA. Lets get the guys in there that will reverse the government growth trend and lower taxes and repeal the ACA and not replace it with another government run intrusion into our lives. I have heard republican say that they want to keep some parts of the ACA and remove and replace other parts. That dog just don't hunt with me.

Just another politician. We need real change. no more lifetime politicians. only single term presidents. no benefits whatsoever after serving a full term. You get paid, you know it is a temporary job. thats it.
