I cringe everytime I see one, one of the scariest 45min of my life spent in one of those contraptions in 2011in a place called Helmand province

Sent from my PRC 117A in my Batmobile disguised as a sedan.

Former coworker who was in the marines for awhile did tours in Iraq/Afghanistan, said the absolute most terrifying time he ever had was when he was being transported in a V22.

Cool to watch those things take off but I'll be damned if I'd ever ride in one.
Kudos to the pilots that fly those things.

I'd shake hake obummers hand first!

+1 I watched them land at an LZ one night while waiting for a ride to a different hell hole. Nice to watch, don't need to ride in one.

Saw them from Rock Ledge Ranch (by Garden of the Gods) about that time, looked like they were headed north toward AFA from downtown (more likely Peterson or the Airport).

Pretty cool ... and really loud (louder than Blackhawks or Chinooks).

So the conciseness is that these things are frightening death traps?

Does that mean Obama is guilty of animal cruelty for using one to transport his dog to Martha's Vineyard?
