Pretty good if you have on loose clothing or a jacket.. general mode of operation is to lift your arms and they pat your sides.

never felt the need to have to carry at any of the games I've been to in the last 13 years.

most people probably never felt the need to carry in a movie theater either...

Or school or military base. Anywhere near boulder I would feel the need to carry.
