Default Magnum Shooting Center - North Colorado Springs

This one is still a ways out (Summer 2014), but they have opened up registration so you get updates plus selling memberships.

    https://www.magnumshootingcenter.com/

Located in same complex as the new Bass Pro Shop in Colorado Springs and will have 24 pistol/rifle lanes, two 50 yard pistol/rifle and six 100 yard pistol/rifle lanes.

On paper, it looks to be a very nice facility. No military/LEO/First responder discounts as you see at DCF or BluCore and the membership registration fee is a steep hump to get over. Hopefully they'll deeply discount or waive the registration fee, like DCF did, to generate more interest. At this point, it is too rich for my blood and unlikely I would spend enough time at the range to justify the $641 first year costs of an individual membership.

Despite that, it will be nice to have one close by when the weather or energy doesn't permit driving up to the Mount Herman ranges.

Too rich for my blood but it is a little cheaper than Whistling Pines.

If they lose the registration fee or at least reduce it, they would probably get more interest. If they priced the annual membership (monthly fees and registration) to be approximately the same as what it would cost me to go to the range twice a month at $20 per visit, I'd be interested.

Not sure where this registration fee came from. Firing Line or BluCore didn't have it when I signed up for a membership.

Whistling Pines has a registration fee, so perhaps they influenced their decision.

Seems to be a trend. DCF also has it. Guess it is a quick way to recoup some of your investment but counterproductive at the same time.
