Having worked with RTD before as security, I recognize a couple of the assailants since they have nothing better to do than hang out at 30th and Downing dealing drugs and generally making a nuisance of themselves. They should have names and addresses on file.

I thought I was going to be the only one who had worked with RTD before. I recognize one of those males from a less lethal incident I had up there. 30th and Downing was always one of our trouble spots.

I worked a mobile unit for a few months before they changed over to Allied Barton. 30th was a good place to hang out and observe because it was a problem area and it was close to some of the calls on Colfax for the drunks.

I am surprised there haven't been more self defense shootings in downtown Denver. Maybe there have been more shootings and 9News and the other various media sources in Denver are overloaded with all of their Broncos coverage.

Yeah, the only way I saw it was because Aurora PD just posted a "help Denver crime stoppers" status on their Facebook page.

Nah.. if there was a shooting they would be all over it and might even interrupt the game.. A brutal assault? I doubt they care.
