    Default Loyalty?!?!?!

Has anyone completely revamped their firearm collection recently? I tell my wife that "this" gun is the gun of all guns! I will never get rid of it! Two months later I am selling it to get something different. I cant be the only one on this planet that does this sort of thing can I? In my mind I have......uh.....lets see......four firearms that as of Monday 10/7/13 I will not get rid of. We shall see!
My determination to not strike the first blow, but also to not stand mute and allow myself, and all that I believe in and stand for, to be trampled by men who would deprive me of my God-given, or natural right to suit my own end.

CO Dems have recently stymied a mass revamp of my collection.

Hard for me to say .. my collection is ( er was ... before the boating accident...) that I can;t see getting rid of anyone them .. unless it was to get a better version of the same thing ( a name brand AR instead of my frankin rifle... but then again .. this one always seems to go bang so why bother?) for the shotgun... The mossberg is the lego of shotguns already .. I have a bunch of accessories .. and can always get more... no need to replace. and the pistol.... again maybe a better version.... but not much better then a good ol colt 1911 ( that doesn't cost an arm, leg or first born... )

I revamp my meager collection all the time, at least I used to, until the scumbag lawmakers impressed their will upon the law abiding citizens of Colorado. I still try here and there but that being said, I do have a few that will stay with me and hopefully go to grandchildren. Maybe before I die I will sell or donate them but I hope that is still a ways down the line.

This one stays with me until death.

    Already did that.
Went from a hodge podge of weapons to mostly glocks. Sold my saiga s-12 for an ak. No unreliable weapons allowed.

Guns are like boats. Always trying to trade up. Only sacred cow in my collection is a family heirloom 61 caliber rifled musket that supposedly one of my ancestors carried in the Civil War, at least according to my Grandfather. Popular opinion is he bought it at a farm sale and came up with the story.

Everything else is up for grabs, but less inclined to do it given the current laws.

Yep. Sold an M&P .40, sold a Benelli M4, sold an FS 2000. All gone to get x, y, and z. My wife just rolls her eyes!

The guns that were given to me as a child (hunting rifles and shotguns), and the guns I've inherited from my Grandfathers (Winchester 92 Saddle Ring Carbine and WWII/Korean War 1911), will stay with me.
All others are subject to upgrade.

Family heirlooms, I am just the steward of, must be handed down(which with the new laws, is PIA). The rest are my tools. They are bought, sold and traded as I desire.
