I've only ever sold/parted with 2 guns in my life and one was actually my wife's. Just couldn't bring myself to parting with any of them before that horrendous day when I had that terrible and very unexpected boating accident where I lost 'em all.

Only 1 gun gone, need to find someone who needs a ruger in 45LC. and am done.
I have never been given a gun I have bought them all. It is a hobby and they are tools. I buy/sell/trade any chance I get. If it were given to me or inherited I would keep it.
Sadly, I lost all of my firearms in that boting accident. It's still so fresh in my mind it brings a tear to my eyes just talking about.
