Edged weapons are almost always going to do you more harm than good against 2+ attackers. Quick feet and a blunt object would serve you a lot better. And of course, a firearm is even better. 3rd gen G19 in OD comes to mind, but I might be biased.


Also, this is why I NEVER use public transportation unless I'm in Chicago or NY.

With all those bystanders there, and being disoriented from the assault, let me know how multiple shots from your G19 work out for you (ya know, knowing your target and what's behind it).

We can't see the events leading up to the first punch, but me personally, I'd have never let them back me into the corner. He certainly didn't have much chance against them, but he also didn't help himself either.

ETA: in regards to the blunt object comment, I completely agree, unfortunately I don't carry a baseball bat on my person (although I should throw one in the truck, the whole toolbox thing and all).
