I have a cousin that sits in front of a TV screen damn near 5-6hrs a day watching crap programming, his Mom is a single parent and she wont allow him to cross the street and play at the park because she is afraid he will get hurt, molested, kidnapped ect. Growing up I didnt have television and very few toys, I read books, shot guns, blew shit up with potato cannons, firecrackers/ works, model rockets, had epic dirt clod wars, shared my huffy bike with my 2 younger brothers and scarred myself up with pocket knifes. Most boys today would be dead if they tried living the way I did the first 17 years of my life, at 16 I had a job, at 7 designated household chores. And im sure my Dad considers that I had it easy lol.

I shudder to think of the quantity of big wheels, not always our own, that we destroyed as a kid. The chopped ones were fun too.
    My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

And in other school related news, Common Core teaches kids that the Constitution is outdated and asks them to trim two of the amendments from the Bill of Rights. http://twitchy.com/2013/10/07/sixth-...-constitution/

That was our 'reward' for a good wrestling practice when I was in High School!! "No rules basketball" is what we called it. Although, we did still leave the wrestling mats on the floor, so you know, we could practice a takedown or two while "playing basketball"!

    What he said.
The character of a man can be judged by how he treats those who can do nothing for him
