Forget P.C.; racism and classism is exactly how people are separated and driven to contempt against each other. All to the benefit of the church, state, media, etc. I might add. Refer to any caste system in the last 1000 years.
The reality is that if you can't effectively deliver a point without needlessly adding racism, it detracts from the value of your entire statement; regardless of if what the rest of what you said was true. You're likely an adult that already knows this, so no need for a lecture.
Anyway, NPR ran a little piece about how this ehole issue looks from a game theory standpoint. Chakar Radantham (100% guess on his name, but he writes the Hidden Brain blog) did a good job analyzing the situation. I thought so anyway.

By your choice of words you are using to describe yourself Im assuming you are caucasian. See heres the rub, our ancestors ( yes im a white guy) were never forced into chains and shipped across an ocean like so many heads of cattle and forced into hundreds of years of slavery and subservient behavior. End of story no debate. Cracker and honkie DO NOT bring forth the negative feelings and pain that the terms used by some of our lesser members here and our dim witted fellow firearm owners have used, your words and defense of such words make me ashamed and saddended to be associated with such low brow comments. Also since at least 1913 and the Federal Reserve Act of that year ( and probably before) our country has been irrepairibly damaged. Been going down since and little sign of a near reversal.
