    Default Daycare/Babysitting

Well im starting to look for a daycare center or babysitter in the sw denver area. Im new to this and I dont really know what to look/ask for when I visit places. My youngest means the world to me and I want the best for but I cant afford the monthley fees that are more than my rent lol. Any advice on what to look for or any suggestions on centers or trudtworthy babysitters. My daughter is 16 months. I have the ovious as far as Certifications like CPR and security of the center.
Its literally making me sick, im not the kind of person to just trust anybody with my babies as im sure most of us are. Thanks guys.

My daycare provider is located in the Littleton area fairly close to South Broadway and Belleview. If you want I can PM you her info. My 4 year-old has been going there for about 2 1/2 years and we think the world of her. She is also very reasonable on rates.

Personal referrals like the one above are the answer.

I agree with the referal method. If mine were taking more kids I would let you know. 800 a month for a 3 and 5 year old, including meals and events, is hard to beat. And she is awesome, has 4 of her own kids, two of which are my kids age. Perfect setup! I refuse to use daycare centers...they are high priced, and the care is not the same.

We have a nanny who used to come in to our home 5 days a week. Mine is older now and going to preschool, so that's down to 2 days. We have on occasionally split the cost with another family we know so the sitter watches two kids instead of one. From time to time, we've even had 3 running around here. You end up having to provide the place this way, but you have ultimate control over everything.

Our offices are in our home so it's works well for us, but maybe there's another family or two you know with whom you could work out a similar deal? Just an outside the box thought.

I cant imagine letting my baby boy be watched by anyone other than his mom-
I dont care who they are- they never give love like a parent will.
i hope to god you find someone that actually CARES for them.
