    Agreed. I'd much rather "put up with" the Mormons than leftists.

    Now I have heard that Mormons can be a bit cliquish and are very friendly when they first meet you but when they find out you're not LDS and have no intention of becoming LDS they tend to treat you like an outsider. Thing is, leftists will do the same thing only once they realize you're not "one of them" they tend to go out of their way to offend you at every turn instead of simply ignoring you. At least the Mormons aren't using the force of the state to get you to live the way they want.

    At any rate I could see it being a slight problem if your a non LDS and you want to live in a small, rural LDS community ... you'll always be the outsider there. But Ogden and the SLC metro area is HUGE and very diverse (I hear there's even black folk there!).
