Colorado is the most recent state to fall victim to the Liberal anti-gun agenda. People who were "on the fence" regarding the purchase of a firearm & ammo immediately shat bricks when the anti-gun bills went up and it's been hell for us since then. Until "those" people quit freaking the f*** out, we will continue to see ammo shortages.

You sir are correct, it is getting better, but every place has limits on your purchases.

According to my dad, MO is in the same boat as we are...mostly. If you take I-70 through MO, you can stop in @ MidwayUSA in Columbia. Other than that, not much around.

Last I knew, in IL, you have to show a FOID (IL issued Firearms Owners Identification Card) to buy ammo there.

Last time I attended an Illinois gun show, even though I am a Colorado citizen holding a current hunting license, the vendors would NOT sell me any ammo of any caliber because I did not have a valid Illinois FOID. Of course you cannot have the Illinois FOID unless your are a resident of that crappy State.
Was not supposed to work that way but the vendors are extremely cautious to the extreme when it comes to selling ammo and a FOID has to be shown first before a customer can even HANDLE any firearms. Probably won't be long before we have the same requirements here in our wonderful Liberal State of CO.

I really hope you are wrong about that Bob. It makes my stomach churn to think we are headed in that direction.

We don't have to go that way -- we were headed that way but the recalls changed things. Let's get Hudak out then rally behind anyone-but-Hickenlooper in 2014. We can still take this state back.

The Cabelas stores seem to have a lot of ammo, and good selections, except for .22 of course. I stopped in the Thornton store today, and it was as crowded as the Pepsi Center on game night. I couldn't believe how many people were in there.

cabelas in lone tree has a pretty nice selection. I was in sportsmans warehouse in springs today and they didnt have ALOT but seemed to be fairing ok aside from .22LR. specialty sports in springs is loaded up with just about everything except .22LR and every conceivable mag for any type of pistol out there except a damned P220... I did however find a half assed decent selection of .22LR at the PX on carson, limit of one box per customer per day for about 30$ for 525 Remmington lighting bolt.
