Default Question about The Walking Dead

    Just started it.

He wakes up in the hospital, everyone is dead or mostly dead in the hospital. The question I have is why is all the wiring hanging out of the ceiling? Why would that even happen? I am running from zombies I am going to stop, grab a step ladder, pop one of the false ceilings out and pull on some wiring. That is what is the high priority for me.

maybe someone tried to climb up?

wait till you get to the part where he passes up like 100 ARs on the ground and a mounted 50 for a bag full of pum action shotguns

Also, he is riding a horse with 5 shotguns in a bag over his shoulder. I would much rather 1 shotgun and all the ammo that the other five represent in weight. Sheeit. I am not certain I can watch this show.

It is escapism tv; not a how to documentary.
“Every good citizen makes his country's honor his own, and cherishes it not only as precious but as sacred. He is willing to risk his life in its defense and is conscious that he gains protection while he gives it.” Andrew Jackson

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

Did you not know that guns kill people? You need a few extras in case one decides to get up and walk away in the night on a murderous rampage. All of the current gun laws should show you this happens more often then you would like to think. Thank jebus we are safe from the worst offenders like guns the government sent to another country and learned to be more evil or the insidious Glock chambered in 380acp.

You can setup a perimeter with the other 4 shotguns.

...and you're watching a program about zombies and are wondering about the realism?

Try watching 24. Jack's 9mm pistol blows up fuel tanker trucks. He always get a signal and never has the battery die on his wonderphone that gets live real-time feeds from satellites with no lag. Watch him step over AK-47s and other long arms to take out snipers with his 9mm. When stopped by police, he hands his wonderphone to the cops to speak with the President or some senior government official who tells the officer to let him go...and they do it.

You would be amazed at what chaps my hide. I can watch bad military shows with little reaction. But watch someone hotwire a car with a screwdriver and I flip my lid. Go figure.

The moment you start watching the show, you should know Zombie is not real.. therefore everything surrounds this story line should not be expected to be realistic. Silly Chris

When I see an actor portraying someone in the military, a really lame salute drives me nuts. I hear ya'. I sometimes have to catch myself when I'm watching fiction. I find some of it just out of my capability of 'suspension of disbelief' and unwatchable.
