This x1000. I could give a shit about company policy about firearms. When leaving my house I always have a CCW. Plus, I'm not going to use a firearm in defense of my company's property. I will only use it if my own life is in immediate danger, or that of a coworker.

Waiting for anyone that gave me shit and calling me a hypocrite for not honoring a property owner's rights (theaters specifically) to carry and protect myself.

I'm not going to lay down and die for anyone's misguided policy. They have the right to post a policy, as a licensed person I have the right to disregard it for my own safety.

He works for a Shell gas station, who cares about that job.
Might be the best thing that ever happened to him and he's ALIVE.

Extremely similar story to a year (or so) ago about the AutoZone employee who went out to his car and retrieved his gun during a robbery and potentially saved his manager's life... I believe we discussed this in pretty great detail.

I have always looked at it in the light, better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. I would trade the job for my life.

One of my favorite quotes! True statement right there. You can't defend your actions from the grave.

This thread make me so angry because many companies including the Hypocrites "Pro Guns" have the same stupid policies for their employes, Actually Bass Pro Shops have this stupid policy too, absolutely No Guns from employes, no matter if is conceal o leaved in your locker.
